Melting......Hot Weather Tips!

As the temperature today is soaring and tomorrow looks to better it in heat I thought of a couple of tips for helping you to keep your makeup on and not melting off your face! Hot days can do crazy things to your makeup, the obvious being when you've left it in the car and its decides to make rivers or bend in new ways but it also plays havoc on your face as sweating is not the best.  

In hot weather:

• Do still moisturise, air conditioners dry out your skin and you will also use less foundation as it smooths on.
• Try a Matte Liquid foundation such as Mary Kay Timewise Matte-Wear Foundation that will work to keep the oil down. OR another is a Mineral Foundation powder, these give great coverage and give a matte look.
• Do use a translucent powder over your liquid foundation, this will set the foundation so it stays longer and you are able to touch it up throughout the day with a pressed powder.
• If oiliness is a problem, try an Oil Matifier before foundation application.  This soaks up the oil throughout the day.
• Beauty Blotters - Oil Absorbing Tissues are great for patting off sweat and oil without removing your makeup. Keep some handy in your bag for whenever you feel the need to touch up.  
• Drink lots of water

This tips can help and if you do happen to leave your lippie in the sun put it in the freezer and it will keep its shape and you will be able to continue to use it.
